A pesar de la inactividad, Ogier aguant贸 el ritmo de los dos pilotos que ocupaban las dos primeras posiciones, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) y Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) que se alternaban en el liderato del rally.
El 8 veces campe贸n del mundo arriesg贸 en las ultimas especiales con el objetivo de llevarse su primera victoria de la temporada y se aprovech贸 de los errores de sus rivales. La marca francesa consigue un importante doblete con vistas a convertirse en campeones del WRC2.
