Finally, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) has done it and is now the WRC champion after a very regular season. It was a difficult rally for the Belgian driver as during the first stages he suffered electrical problems that made him fall in the qualifying and put him uphill his fight for the title.
Ott T盲nak (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) was taking advantage of his options by setting a high pace that no one could follow, if Neuville did not overcome his mechanical problems the Estonian could be the new champion.
All would change in the 17th special where T盲nak suffered a heavy crash while he was the rally鈥檚 leading driver, saying goodbye to his chances of winning again and proclaiming his teammate as the winner of WRC 2024.
On the other hand, Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) won the rally after T盲nak鈥檚 retirement in the final stages, with S茅bastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) second giving Toyota a double at home. Third was Adrien Fourmaux (Ford Puma Rally1) who has made a great season, although it seems that next year will leave M-Sport.
Toyota has finally won the constructors' championship, but the Japanese brand would still receive good news as Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) became WRC2 champion.
In the silver category, victory went to Nikolay Gryazin (Citro毛n C3 Rally2), second Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) and third Arai Hiroki (艩koda Fabia R5).
After the Japan Rally, the WRC brings to a close the 2024 season where Thierry Neuville wins his first title after several years of trying. The 2025 season will start as usual at Rallye Monte-Carlo and the main novelty will be that Rally1 will no longer have the hybrid system as announced by the FIA and WRC a few weeks ago.

Finalmente Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) lo ha logrado, se ha convertido en el campe贸n del WRC tras una temporada muy regular. Ha sido un rally complicado para el piloto belga ya que durante las primeras especiales sufri贸 problemas el茅ctricos que le hac铆an caer en la clasificaci贸n y le pon铆an cuesta arriba su lucha por el titulo.
Por su parte Ott T盲nak (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) aprovechaba sus opciones poniendo un ritmo alt铆simo que nadie pod铆a seguir, si Neuville no superaba sus problemas mec谩nicos el estonio podr铆a ser el nuevo campe贸n.
Todo cambiar铆a en la especial 17 donde T盲nak sufr铆a un fuerte accidente cuando era l铆der destacado del rally, diciendo adi贸s a sus opciones de ser de nuevo campe贸n y proclamando a su compa帽ero como vencedor del WRC 2024.
Por otra parte Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) ganaba el rally tras el abandono de T盲nak en las 煤ltimas especiales, con S茅bastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) segundo d谩ndole un doblete a Toyota en casa. Tercero ha sido Adrien Fourmaux (Ford Puma Rally1) que ha hecho una gran temporada, aunque parece que el pr贸ximo a帽o abandonar谩 M-Sport.
Toyota finalmente ha sido campe贸n en el campeonato de constructores, pero la marca japonesa recibir铆a a煤n buenas noticias ya que Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) se convirti贸 en campe贸n de la categor铆a WRC2.
En la categor铆a de plata la victoria fue para Nikolay Gryazin (Citro毛n C3 Rally2), segundo Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) y tercero Arai Hiroki (艩koda Fabia R5).
Tras el Rally de Jap贸n el WRC pone punto y final a la temporada 2024 donde Thierry Neuville logra su primer titulo tras varios a帽os intent谩ndolo. La temporada 2025 como es costumbre iniciar谩 en el Rallye Monte-Carlo y la principal novedad ser谩 que los Rally1 dejar谩n de contar con el sistema hibrido como anunciado la FIA y el WRC hace unas escasas semanas.

Il rally 猫 stato difficile per il pilota belga, che ha subito problemi elettrici durante le prime prove, che lo hanno fatto cadere in qualifica e gli hanno fatto salire la lotta per il titolo.
Ott T盲nak (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) ha sfruttato le sue opzioni per ottenere un ritmo che nessuno poteva raggiungere, se Neuville non avesse superato i suoi problemi meccanici l'estone potrebbe essere il nuovo campione.
Tutto cambier脿 nella 17ma speciale, quando T盲nak subir脿 un grave incidente mentre era in testa al rally, salutando la possibilit脿 di essere nuovamente campione e proclamando il suo compagno vincitore del WRC 2024.
