Rally de Portugal 2025 🇵🇹 (WRC) - Ogier wins again

Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) returned to the action in style with a new victory following his win this season at Monte-Carlo. The French driver imposed a strong pace and managed his lead well. In this season he has only participated in 3 rallyes with a background of 2 wins and a second position.

Second place went to Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) after a great comeback and a podium finish in the penultimate stage. The Estonian driver suffered to finish the rally due to problems in the power steering of his Hyundai.

The last place on the podium went to Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) in a tough rally for him where he did not feel comfortable.

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) recovered and finished in a good fourth position. Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) was fifth, despite not having a great rally Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) finished sixth and scored valuable points for the championship.

Completed the Top Ten, 7º Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), 8º Josh McErlean (Ford Puma Rally1), 9º Grégoire Munster (Ford Puma Rally1).

While in WRC2 the victory went to Oliver Solberg (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) who dominated throughout the weekend and barely had rivals close enough to threaten to steal his victory. Second place for Yohan Rossel (Citroën C3 Rally2) in a very full weekend, Gus Greensmith (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) took third place in a rally that dominates perfectly. Roope Korhonen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) continues his progression and achieves a worthy fourth place.

Completed the Top Ten: 5º Jan Solans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), 6º Roberto Daprà (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2), 7º Pierre-Louis Loubet (Ford Fiesta Rally2), 8º Mikko Heikkila (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2), 9º Marco Bulacia (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), 10º Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2).

In WRC3 the winner was Taylor Gill (Ford Fiesta Rally3) with a wide lead over Kerem Kazaz (Ford Fiesta Rally3) who finished second and Max Smart (Ford Fiesta Rally3) who completed the podium.

In the Junior WRC the winner was also Taylor Gill (Ford Fiesta Rally3) but with a smaller lead over the runner-up Mille Johansson (Ford Fiesta Rally3). Kerem Kazaz (Ford Fiesta Rally3) took third place.

The next WRC race will be in Italy at Rally Italia Sardegna (05-08/06/2025).

Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) volvió a la acción por todo lo alto consiguiendo una nueva victoria tras la conseguida esta temporada en Monte-Carlo. El piloto francés impuso un fuerte ritmo y gestionó bien su ventaja. En esta temporada tan sólo ha participado en 3 rallyes con un bagaje de 2 victorias y una segunda posición.

En segunda posición finalizó Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) tras una gran remontada donde subía al segundo lugar del podio en la penúltima especial. El piloto estonio sufrió para acabar el rally debido a problemas en la dirección asistida de su Hyundai.

El último lugar del podio fue para Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) en un rally complicado para él donde no se sintió cómodo. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) recuperó sensaciones y finalizó en una buena cuarta posición. Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) fue quinto, a pesar de no tener un gran rally Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) finalizó sexto y logró unos valiosos puntos para el campeonato.

Completaron el Top Ten, 7º Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), 8º Josh McErlean (Ford Puma Rally1), 9º Grégoire Munster (Ford Puma Rally1).

Mientras en WRC2 la victoria fue para Oliver Solberg (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) que dominó durante todo el fin de semana y a penas tuvo rivales cerca que amenazaran con robarle la victoria. Segunda posición para Yohan Rossel (Citroën C3 Rally2) en un fin de semana muy completo, Gus Greensmith (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) logró el tercer puesto en un rally que domina a la perfección. Roope Korhonen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) sigue con su progresión y logra un meritorio cuarto puesto.

Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) è tornato in azione con un'altra vittoria dopo quella di questa stagione a Monte-Carlo. Il pilota francese ha imposto un ritmo forte e ha gestito bene il suo vantaggio. In questa stagione ha partecipato a soli 3 rally con un bagaglio di 2 vittorie e una seconda posizione.

Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) è arrivato secondo dopo una grande rimonta, che lo ha portato al secondo posto nella penultima speciale. Il pilota estone ha sofferto per finire la gara a causa di problemi al servosterzo della sua Hyundai.

L'ultimo posto sul podio è andato a Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) in un rally difficile per lui dove non si sentiva a suo agio.

Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) est de retour dans la course, avec une nouvelle victoire à Monte-Carlo cette saison. Le pilote français a imposé un rythme fort et bien géré son avantage. Cette saison, il n’a participé qu’à 3 rallyes avec un bagage de 2 victoires et une deuxième position.

Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) a terminé deuxième après une belle remontée pour s’emparer de la deuxième place du podium sur l’avant-dernière spéciale. Le pilote estonien a eu du mal à terminer le rallye en raison de problèmes dans la direction assistée de sa Hyundai.

La dernière place du podium revient à Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) dans un rallye difficile où il n’était pas à l’aise.
