Stage 1A - Prologue Stage - Dakar Rally 2022

The start of the rally was very calm with a prologue stage of only 19 kms between the cities of Jeddah and Ha'il.

In Cars, the first leader of the rally was Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota GR DKR Hilux T1 +), second Carlos Sainz (Audi RS Q E-TRON) at 12 seconds and third Brian Baragwanath (Century CR6) 36 seconds behind to the Qatari.

It was a very quiet stage due to the short length and many of the drivers have reserved their strength for the next days.

As a surprise, the current ERC and WRC2 champion Andreas Mikkelsen (OT3 - O3) and in his first Dakar, he finished the stage in second position in the Light Prototype Category. First was Seth Quintero (OT3 - O2) and third after Mikkelsen, Francisco López Contardo (CA- AM XRS).

In the SSV Category the fastest was Marek Goczal (BRP CAN-AM Maverik XRS), second was Michal Goczal (BRP CAN-AM Maverik XRS) and third Rodrigo Luppi de Oliveira (BRP CAN-AM Maverik XRS).

El inicio del rally ha sido muy tranquilo con una etapa prologo de sólo 19 kms entre las ciudades de Jeddah y Ha'il.

En Coches el primer líder del rally ha sido Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota GR DKR Hilux T1+), segundo Carlos Sainz (Audi RS Q E-TRON) a 12 segundos y tercero Brian Baragwanath (Century CR6) a 36 segundos del Catarí.

Ha sido una etapa muy tranquila debido a la corta longitud y muchos de los pilotos han reservado fuerzas para los próximos días.

Como sorpresa el actual campeón del ERC y del WRC2 Andreas Mikkelsen (OT3 - O3) y en su primer Dakar ha finalizado la etapa en segunda posición en la categoría Light Prototype. Primero ha sido Seth Quintero (OT3 - O2) y tercero tras Mikkelsen, Francisco López Contardo (CA- AM XRS).

En la Categoría SSV el más rápido fue Marek Goczal (BRP CAN-AM Maverik XRS), segundo fue Michal Goczal (BRP CAN-AM Maverik XRS) y tercero Rodrigo Luppi de Oliveira (BRP CAN-AM Maverik XRS).

Le départ du rallye s'est déroulé sans incident avec une étape de prologue de seulement 19 kma entre les villes de Djeddah et Ha'il.

En Auto, le premier leader du rallye était Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota GR DKR Hilux T1+), le deuxième Carlos Sainz (Audi RS Q E-TRON) à 12 secondes et le troisième Brian Baragwanath (Century CR6) à 36 secondes du Qatari.

C'était une étape très calme en raison de la courte longueur et de nombreux coureurs ont réservé leurs forces pour les prochains jours.

Surprise, l'actuel champion ERC et WRC2 Andreas Mikkelsen (OT3 - O3) et lors de son premier Dakar, il a terminé l'étape en deuxième position dans la Catégorie Light Prototype. Le premier était Seth Quintero (OT3 - O2) et le troisième après Mikkelsen, Francisco López Contardo (CA-AM XRS).

Dans la Catégorie SSV, le plus rapide était Marek Goczal (BRP CAN-AM Maverik XRS), le deuxième était Michal Goczal (BRP CAN-AM Maverik XRS) et le troisième Rodrigo Luppi de Oliveira (BRP CAN-AM Maverik XRS).
