The Acropolis Rally once again confirmed its status as one of the most demanding events in the WRC. High temperatures, brutal gravel stages, and constant punctures defined an edition in which Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) once again showcased all his experience to take another victory and keep his hopes of a historic tenth world title alive.

Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) once again proved why he remains one of the ultimate specialists on gravel in the WRC. The Frenchman controlled the rally for much of the weekend and, despite constant pressure from Hyundai, managed his advantage perfectly to secure another win in Greece. He also completed a perfect weekend by winning both Super Sunday and the Power Stage, reducing valuable points in the championship fight.

The main rival to Sébastien Ogier was Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1). The Belgian driver delivered a strong and intense battle with the Toyota driver throughout the event and even reached Sunday still in contention for victory. However, several punctures during the rally severely damaged his chances, costing him 58.3 seconds at the finish. Despite that, he still secured a valuable second place for Hyundai.

Third place went to Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), who delivered a very intelligent drive. The Japanese driver avoided mistakes in an event where reliability was crucial and capitalised on the issues of others to return to the WRC podium.

Very close behind was Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), who continues to show strong progress in the Rally1 category. The young Finn once again delivered a clean and consistent rally, missing out on the podium by a narrow margin in one of the toughest events of the season.

The WRC championship leader, Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), had to settle for fifth place. As in previous gravel events, opening the road on Friday proved costly, although he limited the damage and maintained his position at the top of the standings.

One of the standout performers of the weekend was Josh McErlean (Ford Puma Rally1), who delivered an excellent sixth place, matching his best result in the WRC and confirming his continued progress with the Ford Puma Rally1.

Seventh place went to Adrien Fourmaux (Hyundai i20 N Rally1). The French driver spent much of the rally running in podium positions, but issues on Sunday, including a spin, dropped him down the order when a top-three finish looked almost secured.

Completing the top eight was Mārtiņš Sesks (Ford Puma Rally1), who once again delivered a solid and composed drive for M-Sport Ford. The Latvian survived the brutal conditions of the Acropolis Rally to secure another strong result.

The WRC2 category once again turned into a true survival battle at the Acropolis Rally. The brutal Greek stages produced numerous punctures and mechanical issues, shaping a classification that was only decided in the closing stages.

Robert Virves (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) was the dominant force in the category. The Estonian driver combined speed and consistency throughout the weekend to secure an important victory, holding off the pressure from Andreas Mikkelsen (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2). The Norwegian never lost sight of the leader and secured a Toksport WRT 1–2 finish, although he lacked the pace to seriously challenge for the win on the final day.

Third place went to Alejandro Cachón (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), who delivered another outstanding performance. The Spanish driver remained in the fight for the top positions throughout the rally and, despite suffering two punctures, never lost composure. His consistency and ability to minimise damage allowed him to capitalise on his rivals’ issues and climb to the podium, securing another major result for Toyota Spain.

Sunday proved disastrous for Jan Solans (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2). The Spanish driver was running in third place and on course for a podium finish, but two consecutive punctures on the first pass through Loutraki cost him more than two and a half minutes. Further issues with the starter motor and a penalty ultimately dropped him to eighth in the category.

Behind them, Roope Korhonen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) inherited fourth place after Solans’ problems, while Diego Domínguez (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) completed the top five after a very consistent drive. The new Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale cars also impressed, with Léo Rossel and Pablo Sarrazin finishing sixth and seventh respectively in one of the toughest events of the season.

Las altas temperaturas, las durísimas pistas de tierra y los constantes pinchazos marcaron una edición en la que Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) volvió a sacar a relucir toda su experiencia para lograr una nueva victoria y mantener vivas sus opciones de conquistar un histórico décimo título mundial.

Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) volvió a demostrar que sigue siendo uno de los grandes especialistas del Mundial sobre tierra. El francés controló el rally durante buena parte del fin de semana y, pese a la presión constante de Hyundai, supo administrar su ventaja para sumar una nueva victoria en Grecia. Además, redondeó su actuación imponiéndose también en el Super Sunday y en la Power Stage, recortando una importante cantidad de puntos en la lucha por el campeonato.

El gran rival de Sébastien Ogier fue Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1). El piloto belga protagonizó un intenso duelo con el francés durante toda la prueba e incluso llegó a la jornada del domingo con opciones reales de pelear por el triunfo. Sin embargo, varios pinchazos durante el fin de semana lastraron seriamente sus aspiraciones y acabó cediendo 58,3 segundos en meta. Aun así, consiguió salvar una valiosa segunda posición para Hyundai.

La tercera plaza fue para Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), que completó una actuación muy inteligente. El japonés evitó errores en una prueba donde la fiabilidad fue clave y aprovechó los problemas sufridos por varios rivales para regresar al podio del WRC.

Muy cerca terminó Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), que continúa demostrando su progresión con el Rally1. El joven finlandés volvió a completar un rally muy sólido, sin cometer errores importantes, quedándose a las puertas del podio en una de las pruebas más complicadas del calendario.

El líder del WRC, Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), tuvo que conformarse con la quinta posición. Como ya ocurrió en otras pruebas de tierra, abrir pista durante la primera jornada le penalizó notablemente, aunque consiguió limitar los daños y mantener el liderato del WRC.

Uno de los grandes protagonistas del fin de semana fue Josh McErlean (Ford Puma Rally1), que firmó una magnífica sexta posición, igualando su mejor resultado en el WRC y confirmando la progresión del piloto irlandés con el Ford Puma Rally1.

La séptima posición fue para Adrien Fourmaux (Hyundai i20 N Rally1). El francés rodó durante buena parte del rally en posiciones de podio, pero varios contratiempos en la jornada del domingo, incluido un trompo, le hicieron perder un resultado mucho mejor cuando parecía tener asegurada la tercera plaza.

La categoría WRC2 volvió a convertirse en una auténtica prueba de resistencia en el Acropolis Rally. Las durísimas especiales griegas provocaron numerosos pinchazos y averías, condicionando una clasificación que no quedó decidida hasta los últimos kilómetros.

Robert Virves (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) fue el gran dominador de la categoría. El estonio supo combinar velocidad y regularidad durante todo el fin de semana para conseguir una importante victoria, resistiendo la presión de Andreas Mikkelsen (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2). El piloto noruego nunca perdió de vista al líder y terminó asegurando el doblete de Toksport WRT tras un rally muy consistente, aunque sin encontrar el ritmo necesario para discutir el triunfo en la jornada final.

La tercera posición fue para Alejandro Cachón (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), que volvió a firmar una actuación sobresaliente. El asturiano se mantuvo siempre en la lucha por las posiciones de honor y, pese a sufrir dos pinchazos a lo largo del rally, nunca perdió la calma. Su constancia y la capacidad para minimizar los daños le permitieron aprovechar los problemas de sus rivales en el desenlace de la prueba y subir al tercer escalón del podio, sumando un nuevo resultado de prestigio para Toyota España. Además, durante la primera etapa llegó incluso a marcar el mejor tiempo de la categoría en el tramo de Thiva pese a completar la especial con el parabrisas dañado tras el impacto de una piedra.

El gran perjudicado del domingo fue Jan Solans (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2). El español ocupaba la tercera posición y tenía el podio prácticamente asegurado, pero dos pinchazos consecutivos en el primer paso por Loutraki le hicieron perder más de dos minutos y medio. A esos problemas se sumaron posteriormente inconvenientes con el motor de arranque y una penalización, cayendo finalmente hasta la octava posición de la categoría cuando parecía destinado a terminar entre los tres mejores.

Por detrás, Roope Korhonen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) heredó la cuarta posición tras los problemas de Solans, mientras que Diego Domínguez (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) completó el Top 5 después de una actuación muy regular. Los nuevos Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale también dejaron una nota positiva con Léo Rossel (Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale) y Pablo Sarrazin (Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale), que finalizaron sexto y séptimo respectivamente en una de las pruebas más duras de la temporada.

Temperature elevate, prove speciali durissime su sterrato e continui problemi di forature hanno caratterizzato un’edizione nella quale Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) ha nuovamente messo in mostra tutta la sua esperienza per conquistare un’altra vittoria e mantenere vive le sue speranze di un storico decimo titolo mondiale.

Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) ha dimostrato ancora una volta di essere uno dei massimi specialisti del mondiale su sterrato. Il francese ha controllato il rally per gran parte del weekend e, nonostante la pressione costante di Hyundai, ha gestito perfettamente il vantaggio fino alla vittoria finale in Grecia. Ha inoltre completato un fine settimana perfetto vincendo sia il Super Sunday che la Power Stage, riducendo punti importanti nella lotta per il campionato.

Robert Virves (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) è stato il dominatore della categoria. L’estone ha unito velocità e costanza per tutta la gara, riuscendo a contenere la pressione di Andreas Mikkelsen (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2), che ha completato una doppietta per Toksport WRT.

Il terzo posto è andato a Alejandro Cachón (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), autore di un’altra prestazione eccellente. Températures élevées, spéciales en terre extrêmement cassantes et crevaisons à répétition ont marqué une édition dans laquelle Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) a encore une fois démontré toute son expérience pour s’imposer et rester en course pour un historique dixième titre mondial.

Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) a une nouvelle fois prouvé qu’il reste l’un des plus grands spécialistes du championnat sur terre. Le Français a contrôlé le rallye pendant une grande partie du week-end et, malgré la pression constante de Hyundai, a parfaitement géré son avance pour décrocher une nouvelle victoire en Grèce. Il a également signé un week-end parfait en remportant le Super Sunday et la Power Stage, réduisant des points importants dans la lutte pour le championnat.

Le principal rival de Sébastien Ogier a été Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1). Le pilote belge a livré un duel intense avec le Français tout au long de l’épreuve et est arrivé au dimanche encore en lice pour la victoire. Cependant, plusieurs crevaisons ont fortement compromis ses chances, lui coûtant 58,3 secondes à l’arrivée. Malgré cela, il décroche une précieuse deuxième place pour Hyundai.

La troisième place revient à Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), auteur d’une course très intelligente. Le pilote japonais a évité les erreurs dans une épreuve où la fiabilité était essentielle et a profité des problèmes des autres pour retrouver le podium du WRC.

Très proche du podium, Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) continue de montrer une belle progression en Rally1. Le jeune Finlandais a réalisé un rallye propre et régulier, échouant de peu aux portes du podium dans l’une des épreuves les plus difficiles de la saison.

La catégorie WRC2 s’est une nouvelle fois transformée en véritable épreuve de survie lors de l’Acropolis Rally. Les spéciales grecques extrêmement cassantes ont provoqué de nombreuses crevaisons et problèmes mécaniques, bouleversant le classement jusqu’aux derniers kilomètres.

Robert Virves (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) a dominé la catégorie. L’Estonien a combiné vitesse et régularité tout au long du week-end pour s’imposer, en résistant à la pression de Andreas Mikkelsen (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2), qui termine avec une belle deuxième place après un rallye très solide.

La troisième place revient à Alejandro Cachón (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), auteur d’une nouvelle performance remarquable. Le pilote espagnol est resté dans la lutte pour le podium tout au long de l’épreuve et, malgré deux crevaisons, a su rester calme et régulier pour décrocher une place sur le podium grâce à sa constance et sa capacité à limiter les dégâts.

La journée de dimanche a été fatale à Jan Solans (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2). Alors qu’il occupait la troisième position et semblait en route pour le podium, deux crevaisons consécutives dans la première boucle de Loutraki lui ont fait perdre plus de deux minutes et demie. Des problèmes de démarreur et une pénalité ont ensuite achevé de le faire reculer jusqu’à la huitième place de la catégorie.

Derrière lui, Roope Korhonen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) a hérité de la quatrième position, tandis que Diego Domínguez (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) termine cinquième après une course régulière. Les nouvelles Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale ont également montré un bon potentiel avec Léo Rossel et Pablo Sarrazin, respectivement sixième et septième, dans une des épreuves les plus difficiles de la saison.
