Second day of the race and the shocks are already beginning, Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota GR DKR Hilux T1 +) win in a very complicated stage in which a large majority of favorite drivers have been lost or have had serious problems like "Monsieur Dakar" Stéphane Peterhansel (Audi RS Q E-TRON) that has been withdrawn after breaking the rear axle of his Audi after suffering an accident. Stéphane Peterhansel will return to competition tomorrow but has received a 16-hour penalty after leaving and is already ruled out for victory.

Segundo día de carrera y ya empiezan los sobresaltos, Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota GR DKR Hilux T1+) se lleva una etapa muy complicada en la que gran mayoría de pilotos favoritos se han perdido o han tenido serios problemas como "Monsieur Dakar" Stéphane Peterhansel (Audi RS Q E-TRON) que se ha retirado tras romper el eje trasero de su Audi tras sufrir un accidente. Stéphane Peterhansel volverá mañana a la competición pero ha recibido una penalización de 16 horas tras su abandono y ya está descartado para la victoria.

Día triste para Audi que salvo un milagro no conseguirá la victoria en este Dakar 2022. Mattias Ekström (Audi RS Q E-TRON) debido a problemas de navegación ha perdido hora y media con Al-Attiyah, mientras que Carlos Sainz (Audi RS Q E-TRON) también se ha perdido y se encuentra a 2 horas del Qatarí.

Excelente etapa para Sébastien Loeb (Prodrive Hunter BRX T1+) que a pesar de sufrir dos pinchazos ha finalizado el día segundo y asciende a la segunda posición en la general tras Nasser Al-Attiyah.

Martin Prokop (Ford Raptor RS) finalizó tercero y ahora mismo está en tercera posición del rally. Sin duda el checo hoy ha sido uno de los grandes beneficiados tras el desastre de varios pilotos en el día de hoy. Pero no hay nada decidido ya que el Dakar es muy largo y muy duro.

Victoria de nuevo para Seth Quintero (OT3 - O2) en Light Prototype aunque Francisco López Contardo (CA- AM XRS) no está lejos.

Deuxième jour de course et les chocs commencent déjà, Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota GR DKR Hilux T1+) a une étape très compliquée dans laquelle une grande majorité de pilotes favoris ont été perdus ou ont eu de sérieux problèmes comme "Monsieur Dakar" Stéphane Peterhansel (Audi RS Q E-TRON) qui s'est retiré après avoir cassé l'essieu arrière de son Audi suite à un accident. Stéphane Peterhansel reprendra la compétition demain mais a écopé d'une pénalité de 16 heures après son départ et est déjà écarté de la victoire.

Triste journée pour Audi qui, sauf miracle, n'obtiendra pas la victoire dans ce Dakar 2022. Mattias Ekström (Audi RS Q E-TRON) en raison de problèmes de navigation a perdu une heure et demie avec Al-Attiyah, tandis que Carlos Sainz (Audi RS Q E-TRON) a également été perdu et se situe à 2 heures du Qatari.

Excellente étape pour Sébastien Loeb (Prodrive Hunter BRX T1+) qui, malgré deux crevaisons, termine la journée deuxième et grimpe à la deuxième place du général après Nasser Al-Attiyah.

Martin Prokop (Ford Raptor RS) a terminé troisième et occupe actuellement la troisième position du rallye. Sans aucun doute, le Tchèque d'aujourd'hui a été l'un des grands bénéficiaires après la catastrophe de plusieurs pilotes aujourd'hui. Mais rien n'est décidé car le Dakar est très long et très dur.
