The Course de Côte de Bagnols-Sabran 2026, opening round of the French Hill Climb Championship, brought together nearly 170 drivers for a weekend full of action and close battles, with prototypes and GT cars showing their full potential.

Serie A

Serie A was dominated from the very first runs by Marc Pernot (Nova Proto NP01), who set the fastest overall time of the weekend (1:21.518). Fabien Bourgeon (Revolt 3P0) kept the pressure on throughout the event, while Corentin Starck (Nova Proto NP01) completed the podium after an incident in the final run.

The category was marked by strong competition and the intensity of the latest-generation prototypes, with very tight runs and constant position changes at the front. Drivers such as Sébastien Petit and Sébastien Jacqmin also stood out, confirming the growing level of competition in Serie A.

Serie B

Serie B was one of the most exciting categories of the weekend. From the start, Anthony Dubois (Alpine A110 Evo) showed the strongest pace, although an early issue in the first run cost him some time. In the decisive run, Dubois delivered a perfect performance to secure the win, showing great focus and consistency.

Jean-François Ganevat (Renault R.S.01) was Dubois’ main rival throughout the event, keeping the pressure on and securing second place with a very consistent performance. Completing the podium, Alexandre Garnier (Porsche 911 GT3 Cup) delivered a solid run, staying close to the front throughout the weekend.

Other drivers who stood out and came close to the podium included Ronald Garcès (Porsche 992 GT3 Cup), Yannick Poinsignon (BMW M3 E92), Jérémy Avellaneda (Porsche 991 GT3 Cup), Evann Mallet (Cupra Leon Supercopa MK3), Baptiste Thomasset (Cupra Leon Supercopa MK3) and Christophe Poinsignon (Simca CG Turbo), all delivering consistent and competitive runs.

Série A

La Série A a été dominée dès les premières montées par Marc Pernot (Nova Proto NP01), auteur du meilleur temps absolu du week-end (1:21.518). Fabien Bourgeon (Revolt 3P0) est resté au contact tout au long de l’épreuve, tandis que Corentin Starck (Nova Proto NP01) complète le podium malgré une sortie lors de la montée finale.

La catégorie s’est distinguée par une forte intensité et une grande homogénéité des performances, avec des écarts très serrés et des changements fréquents aux avant-postes. Des pilotes comme Sébastien Petit et Sébastien Jacqmin se sont également illustrés, confirmant le niveau élevé de la discipline.

La Série B a offert un spectacle particulièrement disputé tout au long du week-end. Dès le début, Anthony Dubois (Alpine A110 Evo) a affiché un rythme très élevé, malgré un souci lors de la première montée qui lui a fait perdre du temps. Il a toutefois parfaitement réagi lors de la montée décisive pour s’imposer avec autorité.

Jean-François Ganevat (Renault R.S.01) a été son principal adversaire, restant constamment sous pression et assurant une solide deuxième place grâce à une grande régularité. Alexandre Garnier (Porsche 911 GT3 Cup) complète le podium après une performance constante au plus haut niveau.

La Serie A estuvo dominada desde las primeras subidas por Marc Pernot (Nova Proto NP01), que marcó el mejor tiempo absoluto del fin de semana (1:21.518). Fabien Bourgeon (Revolt 3P0) mantuvo la presión durante toda la jornada, mientras que Corentin Starck (Nova Proto NP01) completó el podio tras un incidente en la última subida.

Serie B
