The Rally Sweden once again delivered a weekend of maximum intensity on snow and ice. From the opening stages, the fight for victory was decided by the smallest margins on a surface where precision and tyre management made all the difference.
Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) built his victory with authority, leading the rally with confidence and keeping everything under control during the decisive stages. The Welshman managed his advantage smartly, avoiding unnecessary risks and handling the second passes particularly well as conditions became more demanding.
Second place went to Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), who delivered a very consistent performance. The Japanese driver stayed within the leading times throughout the weekend, avoiding major mistakes and maintaining a steady pace that kept him firmly in podium contention from Friday onwards. His regularity proved crucial in a rally where any error is heavily punished.
The third step of the podium was secured by Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), once again demonstrating his strong adaptation to winter conditions. The Finn showed impressive speed on the faster stages and managed the more technical sections intelligently, confirming his growing confidence in the top category.
Meanwhile, 4º Oliver Solberg (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) shone at times in front of his home crowd, setting competitive stage times. However, small driving errors cost him valuable seconds, preventing him from mounting a more direct challenge for the podium despite his clear pace.
The rest of the top ten was completed by: 5º Esapekka Lappi (Hyundai i20 N Rally1), 6º Adrien Fourmaux (Hyundai i20 N Rally1), 7º Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1), 8º Jon Armstrong (Ford Puma Rally1), 9º Joshua McErlean (Ford Puma Rally1) and 10º Roope Korhonen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2).

In WRC2, the rally produced a tight battle between three Finnish drivers. Roope Korhonen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) claimed victory after a very solid performance, building his lead stage by stage and managing the pressure perfectly on the final day.
Second place went to Teemu Suninen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), who remained in contention for the win throughout the event, particularly strong on the faster stages, but ultimately lacking the margin needed to challenge his compatriot for victory.
The podium was completed by Lauri Joona (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2), consistent all weekend and ready to capitalize on any small mistake from his rivals. Once again, the category highlighted the competitiveness and depth of talent within the Rally2 field in winter conditions.
WRC3: Fontana Takes Victory in Sweden | JWRC: Carlberg Sets the Pace
In WRC3, Matteo Fontana (Ford Fiesta Rally3) delivered a composed performance on the Swedish snow, building a consistent advantage thanks to precise and mistake-free driving. Second place went to Tymoteusz Abramowski (Ford Fiesta Rally3), who remained competitive and consistent throughout the weekend, while Raúl Hernández (Ford Fiesta Rally3) completed the podium after maintaining a strong pace in particularly demanding conditions.
In the JWRC, Calle Carlberg (Ford Fiesta Rally3) secured a commanding victory, controlling the rally from the start and setting very consistent stage times in the most technical sections. Second place went to Leevi Lassila (Ford Fiesta Rally3), who showed strong speed and solid adaptation to the icy surface, while Gil Membrado (Ford Fiesta Rally3) rounded out the podium with a very solid result in the category.
The next round of the championship will be the Safari Rally Kenya (12–15/03/26), which will be contested on gravel.

El Rally Sweden volvió a ofrecer un fin de semana de máxima exigencia sobre nieve y hielo. Desde los primeros tramos, la lucha por la victoria se definió por detalles mínimos en un terreno donde la precisión y la gestión marcaron la diferencia.
Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) construyó su triunfo con autoridad, liderando la prueba con solidez y manteniendo el control en las etapas decisivas. El galés supo administrar su ventaja sin asumir riesgos innecesarios, gestionando especialmente bien las segundas pasadas cuando la superficie se volvía más delicada.
En segunda posición terminó Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), firmando una actuación muy consistente. Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) ha costruito il suo successo con autorità, guidando la gara con sicurezza e mantenendo il controllo nelle fasi decisive. Il gallese ha saputo amministrare il vantaggio senza correre rischi inutili, gestendo in modo efficace soprattutto i secondi passaggi quando le condizioni si facevano più insidiose.
La seconda posizione è andata a Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), autore di una prestazione molto solida. Le Rally Sweden a une nouvelle fois offert un week-end d’une intensité maximale sur neige et glace. Dès les premières spéciales, la lutte pour la victoire s’est jouée sur des détails infimes, sur un terrain où précision et gestion ont fait toute la différence.
Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) a construit son succès avec autorité, menant l’épreuve avec assurance et gardant le contrôle dans les moments décisifs. Le Gallois a su gérer son avance sans prendre de risques inutiles, maîtrisant particulièrement bien les deuxièmes passages lorsque les conditions devenaient plus piégeuses.
La deuxième place est revenue à Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), auteur d’une prestation très solide. Le Japonais est resté constamment au contact des leaders, évitant les erreurs majeures et maintenant un rythme régulier qui lui a permis de consolider sa place sur le podium dès le vendredi.
