The first edition of the Rally de la Sidra 2026, opening the Asturias Rally Championship, delivered an action-packed day from the very first stage. Rain accompanied most of the event, increasing the difficulty of the stages and testing the drivers’ skills. The fight for victory was intense, with constant changes at the top of the leaderboard.

From the opening kilometers, José Manuel Mora (Škoda Fabia N5) set the pace, leading the initial stages and showing that N5 cars could challenge the Rally2s. However, the classification saw a decisive turn in TC6, when Alberto Ordóñez (Citroën C3 Rally2) took the lead with a flawless performance, setting several stage wins and maintaining his advantage until the finish line, securing victory in this first edition and becoming the first leader of the Asturias Rally Championship.

In second place, José Manuel Mora delivered a solid rally, constantly pressuring Alberto Ordóñez and demonstrating his experience on the most demanding stages. Daniel Alonso (Ford Focus WRC) completed the podium, keeping a consistent pace and making the most of every stage to secure his spot among the top three.

The rest of the Top 10 also had notable performances:In fourth place, Emilio Arias (Ford Fiesta MKII N5) put in a consistent and competitive rally, maintaining a good pace throughout the stages and demonstrating great control in the rain and on technical sections. Manuel García (Citroën C3 Rally2), in fifth place, delivered a very solid rally, error-free and steady. Rodrigo Beteta (Peugeot 205) claimed sixth place, showing that Group X cars could also keep up with the Rally2 pace. In seventh and eighth places, Iván Suárez (Škoda Fabia R5) and César Palacio (Renault Clio RS 2.0) maintained strong and consistent performances throughout the rally. Closing the Top 10, David García (Citroën AX Sport) and Ángel Rodríguez (Peugeot 205) completed the classification, showing consistency and maintaining a strong pace until the end of the rally.

The next round of the Asturias Rally Championship will be the Rally Villa de Tineo (18/04/2026).

La primera edición del Rally de la Sidra 2026, que inauguró el Campeonato de Asturias de Rallyes, ofreció una jornada llena de emoción desde el primer tramo. La lluvia acompañó durante gran parte de la prueba, aumentando la dificultad de los tramos y poniendo a prueba la habilidad de todos los pilotos. La lucha por la victoria fue intensa, con cambios constantes en la cabeza de carrera.

Desde los primeros kilómetros, José Manuel Mora (Škoda Fabia N5) marcó el ritmo, liderando los tramos iniciales y demostrando que los N5 podían plantar cara a los Rally2. Sin embargo, la clasificación sufrió un vuelco decisivo en el TC6, cuando Alberto Ordóñez (Citroën C3 Rally2) se colocó al frente con una actuación impecable, logrando varios scratch y manteniendo la ventaja hasta cruzar la meta, asegurando la victoria en esta primera edición y convirtiéndose en el primer líder del Campeonato de Asturias de Rallyes.

En segunda posición, José Manuel Mora consolidó un rally sólido, siempre presionando a Alberto Ordóñez y demostrando su experiencia en los tramos más exigentes. Daniel Alonso (Ford Focus WRC) completó el podio, manteniendo un ritmo constante y aprovechando cada tramo para asegurar su plaza entre los tres primeros.

El resto del Top 10 también dejó momentos destacados:En cuarta posición, Emilio Arias (Ford Fiesta MKII N5) firmó un rally consistente y muy competitivo, manteniendo un buen ritmo en todos los tramos y demostrando gran control sobre la lluvia y las zonas más técnicas. Manuel García (Citroën C3 Rally2), en quinta posición, realizó un rally muy sólido, sin errores y siempre regular. La sexta plaza fue para Rodrigo Beteta (Peugeot 205), mostrando que los coches de grupo X también podían acercarse al ritmo de los Rally2.

En séptima y octava posición, Iván Suárez (Škoda Fabia R5) y César Palacio (Renault Clio RS 2.0) mantuvieron un rendimiento fuerte y constante durante todo el rally. Cerrando el Top 10, David García (Citroën AX Sport) y Ángel Rodríguez (Peugeot 205) completaron la clasificación, mostrando constancia y buen ritmo hasta el final del rally.
