Classification

Primera victoria para Elfyn Evans en el mítico rally de Portugal, segundo fue Dani Sordo y tercero Sébastien Ogier. Dos Toyotas en el podio acompañados por el Hyundai de Sordo.

Evans supo controlar su cómoda ventaja sobre el español todo el fin de semana.

Este fue el primer rally de Dani Sordo y su nuevo copiloto Borja Rozada. Los españoles consiguieron un buen segundo puesto.

El último puesto del podio lo logró Sébastien Ogier que aún sigue siendo líder del campeonato.

Takamoto Katsuta con su Toyota fue cuarto y consiguió su mejor posición en el WRC. Los Ford de Greensmit y Fourmaux fueron quinto y sexto.

La nota negativa del fin de semana fue para los pilotos de Hyunday Thierry Neuville y Ott Tänak que perdieron todas las opciones por la victoria debido a accidentes.

En WRC 2 el finlandés Esapekka Lappi (Volkswagen Polo GTI R5) fue el gran dominador con una ventaja superior a un minuto sobre el segundo clasificado Teemu Suninen (Ford Fiesta Rally2), tercero fue el noruego Mads Østberg (Citroën C3 Rally2).

El piloto polaco Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo) se llevó la segunda victoria consecutiva de la temporada en el WRC 3.

Por sólo 5.6 segundos se ha decidido la victoria entre Kajetanowicz y el francés Yohan Rossel (Citroën C3 Rally2). Tercero en la categoría fue el británico Chris Ingram (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo).

En la categoría JWRC primero fue el letón Mārtiņš Sesks, segundo el finlandés Sami Pajari y tercero el estonio Robert Virves.

El Rally de Portugal también fue puntuable para la Peugeot Rally Cup Ibérica. El ganador fue el rápido piloto asturiano Alejandro Cachón, segundo fue Alberto Monarri y tercero Álvaro Muñiz.

La siguiente prueba del WRC será el Rally Italia Sardegna (03-06/06/2021) y la siguiente prueba de la Peugeot Rally Cup Ibérica será en España en el Rally de Ourense (16-17/07/2021).

First victory for Elfyn Evans in the legendary Rally of Portugal, second was Dani Sordo and third was Sébastien Ogier. Two Toyotas on the podium accompanied by Sordo’s Hyundai.

Evans knew how to control his comfortable advantage over the Spanish all weekend.

This was the first rally of Dani Sordo and his new co-driver Borja Rozada. The Spanish got a good second place.

The last place on the podium was achieved by Sébastien Ogier who is still championship leader.

Takamoto Katsuta in his Toyota was fourth and got his best WRC position. The Ford´s of Greensmit and Fourmaux were fifth and sixth.

The negative note of the weekend was for Hyunday drivers Thierry Neuville and Ott Tänak who lost all options for victory due to accidents.

In WRC 2 the Finnish Esapekka Lappi (Volkswagen Polo GTI R5) was the big dominator with a one-minute lead over second-placed Teemu Suninen (Ford Fiesta Rally2), third was the Norwegian Mads Østberg (Citroën C3 Rally2).

The Polish driver Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo) claimed the second consecutive victory of the season in WRC 3.

By just 5.6 seconds, the victory was decided between Kajetanowicz and the French Yohan Rossel (Citroën C3 Rally2). Third in the category was the British Chris Ingram (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo).

In the JWRC category he was first the Latvian Mārtiņš Sesks, second the Finnish Sami Pajari and third the Estonian Robert Virves.

The Rally of Portugal also scored for the Peugeot Rally Cup Ibérica.
