The  European HillClimb Championship 2024 begins and it does so with surprise. The French Geoffrey Schatz (Nova NP 01-2 C Honda Turbo), who this year will participate in all the races of the European championship, beat the untouchable Christian Merli (Osella FA30 Judd LRM) in Austria and if that were not enough, he has also broken the record for the race.
The French driver did not give the Italian champion any chance, achieving first position overall and in Category 2.
After several years of dominance by Christian Merli, it seems that this year there will be great equality to become European champion.
The last place on the podium went to Joseba Iraola (Nova NP 01-2 C Honda Turbo) who with his new Nova has raised his competitive level.

Comienza el European HillClimb Championship 2024 y lo hace con sorpresa. El francés Geoffrey Schatz (Nova NP 01-2 C Honda Turbo) que este año participará en todas las carreras del campeonato europeo, venció en Austria al intocable Christian Merli (Osella FA30 Judd LRM) y si no fuera poco también ha batido el récord de la carrera.
El piloto francés no dió ninguna opción al campeón italiano logrando la primera posición absoluta y de la CategorÃa 2.
Tras varios años de dominio por parte de Christian Merli, parece que este año habrá una gran igualdad por convertirse en campeón europeo.
El último lugar del podio ha sido para Joseba Iraola (Nova NP 01-2 C Honda Turbo) que con su nueva Nova ha subido su nivel competitivo.
Gran batalla por la cuarta posición que se ha decidido por a penas unas décimas de segundo entre Corentin Starck (Nova NP 01-2 Mugen) y Petr Trnka (Norma M20FC Mugen) que finalmente ha sido quinto.

Inizia il European HillClimb Championship 2024 e lo fa a sorpresa. Il francese Geoffrey Schatz (Nova NP 01-2 C Honda Turbo), che quest'anno parteciperà a tutte le gare del campionato europeo, ha battuto in Austria l'intoccabile Christian Merli (Osella FA30 Judd LRM) e se ciò non bastasse, ha ha anche battuto il record della gara.
Il pilota francese non ha dato scampo al campione italiano, conquistando la prima posizione assoluta e di Categoria 2.
Dopo diversi anni di dominio di Christian Merli, sembra che quest'anno ci sarà grande parità per diventare campione d'Europa.
L'ultimo posto sul podio è andato a Joseba Iraola (Nova NP 01-2 C Honda Turbo) che con la sua nuova Nova ha alzato il suo livello competitivo.

L´European HillClimb Championship 2024 commence et il le fait avec surprise. Le Français Geoffrey Schatz (Nova NP 01-2 C Honda Turbo) qui participera cette année à toutes les courses du championnat d’Europe, a battu en Autriche l’intouchable Christian Merli (Osella FA30 Judd LRM) et a battu le record de la course.
Le pilote français n’a pas laissé le choix au champion italien en obtenant la première place absolue et la Catégorie 2.
Après plusieurs années de domination de Christian Merli, il semble qu’il y aura cette année une grande égalité pour devenir champion d’Europe.
La dernière place du podium est revenue à Joseba Iraola (Nova NP 01-2 C Honda Turbo) qui, avec sa nouvelle Nova, a élevé son niveau de compétition.
Belle bataille pour la quatrième place qui s'est décidée en quelques dixièmes de seconde seulement entre Corentin Starck (Nova NP 01-2 Mugen) et Petr Trnka (Norma M20FC Mugen) qui a finalement terminé cinquième.
Viennent ensuite Kevin Petit (Revolt 3P0 Honda Turbo), Alexander Hin (Osella FA30 Zytek), Fausto Bormolini (Nova NP 01-2 C Mugen)...

Le pilote autrichien s'est montré intraitable tout au long du week-end, loin devant ses rivaux et battant également le record de la course.
