The 2026 Croatia Rally ended in dramatic fashion, decided in the very last stage after a mistake from Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) when he looked set to take victory.

The rally started in chaos on Friday, with several frontrunners off pace and the lead in the hands of Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), closely followed by Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) and Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1).

Saturday proved extremely demanding, with punctures and difficult conditions throughout. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) took control of the rally by capitalising on the issues of Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) and Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), arriving into Sunday with more than a one-minute lead.

However, everything changed in the Power Stage, where Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) made a mistake at a junction and lost his entire advantage. Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) inherited the lead and took victory, a result that also moves him into the lead of the WRC World Championship.

Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) finished second, while Hayden Paddon (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) completed the podium after a demanding and unpredictable rally.

WRC2

In WRC2, victory went to Yohan Rossel (Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale), who delivered a strong and consistent performance throughout the event and finished inside the overall top positions thanks to a solid pace on asphalt.

Léo Rossel (Citroën C3 Rally2) finished second in the category, while Nikolay Gryazin (Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale) completed the podium after a close fight in Rally2.

Also impressive were Alejandro Cachón (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) and Roope Korhonen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), both finishing inside the overall top 10 after a very consistent rally.

JWRC

In the Junior WRC category, victory went to Ali Türkkan (Ford Fiesta Rally3), who once again showed strong pace on asphalt to take a convincing win.

Second place went to Calle Carlberg (Ford Fiesta Rally3), who mounted a strong comeback during the weekend, while Craig Hill (Ford Fiesta Rally3) completed the podium in third after a solid and controlled drive.

WRC3

In WRC3, the win also went to Ali Türkkan (Ford Fiesta Rally3), who dominated the category with a consistent and mistake-free performance.

Gil Membrado (Ford Fiesta Rally3) finished second, delivering one of his best performances of the season, while Kerem Kazaz (Ford Fiesta Rally3) completed the podium in third after a competitive battle throughout the event.

El Croatia Rally 2026 dejó un final dramático, decidido en el último tramo tras un error de Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) cuando tenía la victoria prácticamente asegurada.

El rally comenzó con caos desde el viernes, con varios favoritos fuera de ritmo y el liderato en manos de Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), seguido muy de cerca por Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) y Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1).

El sábado fue muy exigente, con pinchazos y condiciones complicadas. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) tomó el control de la prueba aprovechando los problemas de Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) y Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), llegando al domingo con más de un minuto de ventaja.

Sin embargo, todo cambió en el Power Stage, donde Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) cometió un error en un cruce y perdió toda la ventaja acumulada. En WRC2, la victoria fue para Yohan Rossel (Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale), que se mostró muy sólido durante todo el rally y acabó dentro del top absoluto con un gran ritmo en los tramos de asfalto.

Léo Rossel (Citroën C3 Rally2) terminó segundo en la categoría, mientras que Nikolay Gryazin (Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale) completó el podio tras una lucha muy ajustada en Rally2.

Destacaron también Alejandro Cachón (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) y Roope Korhonen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), ambos dentro del top 10 absoluto tras un rally muy consistente.

JWRC

En el Junior WRC, la victoria fue para Ali Türkkan (Ford Fiesta Rally3), que volvió a demostrar su gran ritmo en asfalto imponiéndose con autoridad.

El segundo puesto fue para Calle Carlberg (Ford Fiesta Rally3), que protagonizó una gran remontada durante el fin de semana, mientras que Craig Hill (Ford Fiesta Rally3) completó el podio en tercera posición tras un rally muy sólido.

WRC3

En WRC3, el triunfo volvió a ser para Ali Türkkan (Ford Fiesta Rally3), que dominó también dentro de su categoría con una actuación muy consistente.

Il Rally di Croazia 2026 si è concluso in modo drammatico, deciso nell’ultima speciale dopo un errore di Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) quando sembrava ormai lanciato verso la vittoria.

Il rally è iniziato nel caos il venerdì, con diversi protagonisti in difficoltà e la leadership nelle mani di Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), seguito molto da vicino da Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) e Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1).

Il sabato è stato estremamente impegnativo, con forature e condizioni difficili. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) ha preso il controllo della gara approfittando dei problemi di Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) e Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), arrivando alla domenica con oltre un minuto di vantaggio.

Tutto però è cambiato nella Power Stage, dove Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) ha commesso un errore in una curva perdendo tutto il vantaggio accumulato. Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) ha così ereditato la leadership andando a conquistare la vittoria, risultato che lo porta anche al comando del campionato del mondo WRC.

Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) ha chiuso secondo, mentre Hayden Paddon (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) ha completato il podio al termine di un rally molto impegnativo e imprevedibile.

WRC2

In WRC2, la vittoria è andata a Yohan Rossel (Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale), autore di una gara solida e costante che gli ha permesso di chiudere anche nelle posizioni di vertice assoluto grazie a un ottimo ritmo sull’asfalto.

Léo Rossel (Citroën C3 Rally2) ha concluso secondo di categoria, mentre Nikolay Gryazin (Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale) ha completato il podio al termine di una lotta molto serrata nel Rally2.

Ottime prestazioni anche per Alejandro Cachón (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) e Roope Korhonen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), entrambi capaci di chiudere nella top 10 assoluta.

JWRC

Nel Junior WRC la vittoria è andata a Ali Türkkan (Ford Fiesta Rally3), ancora una volta molto veloce sull’asfalto e autore di una prestazione dominante.

Secondo posto per Calle Carlberg (Ford Fiesta Rally3), protagonista di una buona rimonta nel corso del weekend, mentre Craig Hill (Ford Fiesta Rally3) ha chiuso il podio in terza posizione con una gara solida e regolare.

WRC3

Nel WRC3, il successo è stato ancora di Ali Türkkan (Ford Fiesta Rally3), che ha dominato la categoria con una prestazione costante e senza errori.

Le rallye a débuté dans le chaos vendredi, avec plusieurs favoris en difficulté et la tête de course entre les mains de Sami Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1), suivi de près par Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) et Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1).

Le samedi a été particulièrement exigeant, avec de nombreuses crevaisons et des conditions difficiles.
