The European HillClimb Championship. heads to Slovenia this weekend for another round of the season at Ilirska Bistrica, one of the best-known events on the calendar and one of the final opportunities for drivers still fighting for their goals in the standings.

The Slovenian event features a fast and demanding course, with several changes of pace and sections where driver confidence will be essential. The track combines fast sections with corners requiring precision, creating a setting where finding the right balance between speed and control will be key to achieving a strong result.

European HillClimb Championship – Category 2

Category 2 will once again be one of the main attractions at Ilirska Bistrica, with several of the championship's leading protagonists ready to fight for victory.

Joseba Iraola Lanzagorta (Nova NP01), Kevin Petit (Nova Proto NP01) and Petr Trnka (Nova Proto NP01-2 C) will once again meet at the front of the field. After Kevin Petit (Nova Proto NP01) claimed victory at St. Ursanne – Les Rangiers, the Frenchman will be looking to repeat the result, while Joseba Iraola Lanzagorta (Nova NP01) will be aiming to return to the top step of the podium.

Petr Trnka (Nova Proto NP01-2 C) also arrives as one of the contenders for the leading positions, in a category where the gaps between the main prototypes could once again be very small.

One of the biggest highlights will be the debut of Igor Stefanovski (Nova Proto NP01) with his new Nova Proto NP01. The Macedonian driver joins the battle with one of the most competitive cars in the category and will be one of the main drivers to watch throughout the weekend.

Also taking part will be Fausto Bormolini (Wolf Mistral), O'Play (Nova Proto NP03), David Dědek (Nova Proto NP03), Vladimir Stankovič (Wolf GB08 Thunder) and Czech drivers Lukáš Studený (Ligier JS51), Karel Berger (Osella PA21 JrB) and Tereza Machová (Norma M20 F).

European HillClimb Championship – Category 1

Category 1 will feature a large entry at Ilirska Bistrica, with a highly varied field and numerous drivers looking to use the event to further their goals in the championship.

One of the biggest names will be Reto Meisel (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo V 001Ams), who will return with the Mitsubishi he competed with at Limanowa. The Swiss driver will face the event as one of the leading protagonists in the standings and will have to defend his position against a strong field of rivals.

European HillClimb Championship. zamíří tento víkend do Slovinska k dalšímu podniku sezóny v Ilirska Bistrica, jednomu z nejznámějších závodů kalendáře a zároveň k jedné z posledních příležitostí pro jezdce, kteří stále bojují o své cíle v šampionátu.

Slovinský závod nabízí rychlou a náročnou trať s několika změnami rytmu a úseky, kde bude důležitá především důvěra jezdce. Trať kombinuje rychlé pasáže se zatáčkami vyžadujícími přesnost, takže pro dosažení dobrého výsledku bude klíčové najít správnou rovnováhu mezi rychlostí a kontrolou.

European HillClimb Championship – Kategorie 2

Kategorie 2 bude v Ilirska Bistrica opět jednou z hlavních atrakcí, protože se zde představí několik předních protagonistů šampionátu připravených bojovat o vítězství.

Joseba Iraola Lanzagorta (Nova NP01), Kevin Petit (Nova Proto NP01) a Petr Trnka (Nova Proto NP01-2 C) se znovu utkají na čele startovního pole. Po vítězství Kevin Petit (Nova Proto NP01) v St. Ursanne – Les Rangiers se Francouz pokusí na tento výsledek navázat, zatímco Joseba Iraola Lanzagorta (Nova NP01) bude usilovat o návrat na nejvyšší stupeň pódia.

Také Petr Trnka (Nova Proto NP01-2 C) patří mezi kandidáty na přední příčky v kategorii, kde mohou být rozdíly mezi hlavními prototypy opět velmi malé.

Jednou z největších novinek bude debut Igor Stefanovski (Nova Proto NP01) s jeho novou Nova Proto NP01. Makedonský jezdec se zapojí do souboje s jedním z nejkonkurenceschopnějších vozů v kategorii a bude jedním z jezdců, které bude během víkendu stát za to sledovat.

Na startu se představí také Fausto Bormolini (Wolf Mistral), O'Play (Nova Proto NP03), David Dědek (Nova Proto NP03), Vladimir Stankovič (Wolf GB08 Thunder) a čeští jezdci Lukáš Studený (Ligier JS51), Karel Berger (Osella PA21 JrB) a Tereza Machová (Norma M20 F).

European HillClimb Championship – Kategorie 1

Kategorie 1 nabídne v Ilirska Bistrica velmi početné startovní pole, které bude tvořit pestrá škála vozů a řada jezdců připravených využít tento podnik k dalšímu posunu v šampionátu.

Jedním z hlavních jmen bude Reto Meisel (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo V 001Ams), který se vrací s Mitsubishi, se kterým startoval v Limanowa. Švýcarský jezdec bude patřit mezi hlavní protagonisty průběžného pořadí a bude muset čelit silné konkurenci.

Mezi jeho soupeře bude patřit Matija Jurišić (Peugeot 308 TCR 1.6), který prožívá povedenou sezonu a znovu bude jedním z jezdců, které bude zajímavé sledovat. Výraznou postavou bude také Kevin Raith (Porsche 992 GT3 Cup 992), zatímco Marek Rybníček (Škoda Fabia RS Rally 2) a Vojtěch Bejda (Peugeot 308) doplňují skupinu jezdců schopných bojovat o přední příčky.

Jedním z hlavních lákadel kategorie bude rozmanitost techniky. Na startu se objeví několik vozů Porsche, například Alexandru Pitigoi (Porsche 992 GT3 Cup), Michal Roll (Porsche 992 GT3 Cup), Peter Eibisberger (Porsche 992.2 GT3 Cup) a Ignacio Cabezas Catalan (Porsche 992 GT3 Cup), stejně jako vozy Mitsubishi, Subaru, Škoda, BMW, Renault a vozy specifikace TCR.

Důležitá bude také domácí účast. Mezi místními jezdci bude například Milan Bubnič (Lancia Delta HF Integrale), zatímco další pravidelní účastníci šampionátu jako Milovan Vesnić (Audi RS3 LMS), Domagoj Pereković (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX), Anže Dovjak (Hyundai i30 TCR) a Diethard Sternad (Honda Civic FK7 TCR) se budou chtít prosadit v jednom z nejvýznamnějších podniků slovinského kalendáře.
