Duel of world champions for victory in the famous Safari Rally Kenya until the last special. Finally, the eight-time world champion Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) managed to beat the current champion Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) by just 6.8 seconds in a very difficult rally.

The veteran French driver knew how to maintain the advantage achieved in the first special stages of the rally and although the young Finn tried until the end, he could not catch up with Ogier, who with this already has 3 victories this season.

Despite everything, Rovanperä remains the outstanding leader of the championship.

If this weren't enough, Toyota couldn't be happier as they achieved a Poker, as all four of their cars finished in the top four places. A great loot of points for the constructors' world championship.

Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) was third and Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) finished fourth.

The other side of the coin was the Hyundai team, where only Dani Sordo (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) was the only driver capable of completing the rally. Despite suffering mechanical problems with his power steering all weekend, he was able to finish in fifth place.

Duelo de campeones del mundo por la victoria en el famoso Safari Rally Kenya hasta la última especial. Finalmente el ocho veces campeón del mundo Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) logró vencer por sólo 6.8 segundos al actual campeón Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) en un rally muy complicado.

El veterano piloto francés supo mantener la ventaja conseguida en las primeras especiales del rally y aunque el joven finlandés lo intentó hasta el final no pudo alcanzar a Ogier que con esta ya suma 3 victorias esta temporada.

A pesar de todo Rovanperä sigue siendo líder destacado del campeonato.

Si esto fuera poco, Toyota no podría ser más feliz ya que lograba un Póker, debido a que sus cuatro coches finalizaron en las cuatro primeras plazas. Un gran botín de puntos para el mundial de constructores.

Elfyn Evans (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) era tercero y Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) finalizaba cuarto.

La otra cara de la moneda fue el equipo Hyundai, donde sólo Dani Sordo (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) fue el único de sus pilotos capaz de completar el rally. A pesar de sufrir durante todo el fin de semana problemas mecánicos con la dirección asistida, pudo acabar en quinto lugar.

Esapekka Lappi (Hyundai i20 N Rally1) abandonó debido a problemas de transmisión, regresó gracias al modo Super Rally pero sólo pudo remontar hasta el 12º lugar.

La nota negativa final llegaría tras la finalización del rally con la descalificación de Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1).

El belga no había completado un gran rally, había finalizado en octava posición pero había logrado 5 puntos por ganar la Power Stage.

Los comisarios descalificaron a Neuville por realizar un reconocimiento ilegal de una de las especiales por parte de sus ouvriers cuando no estaba permitido. Con esta decisión el belga cae de la segunda a la quinta posición en el campeonato.

Por último Ott Tanak (Ford Puma Rally1) fue sexto y Pierre Loubet (Ford Puma Rally1) séptimo. Los dos pilotos de M-Sport acabaron muy retrasados debido a problemas de potencia y a diversos pinchazos.

En WRC2 sin grandes novedades, donde el ganador fue Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo) con una ventaja de 11 minutos sobre el segundo clasificado Martin Prokop (Ford Fiesta Rally2) y tercero fue el piloto local Carl Tundo (Škoda Fabia R5).

La siguiente carrera del WRC será el Rally Estonia (20-23/07/23).

Il veterano pilota francese ha saputo mantenere il vantaggio ottenuto nelle prime prove speciali del rally e nonostante il giovane finlandese ci abbia provato fino alla fine, non è riuscito a recuperare il ritardo di Ogier, che con questo ha già 3 vittorie in questa stagione.

Nonostante tutto, Rovanperä rimane l'eccezionale leader del campionato.

Se ciò non bastasse, la Toyota non potrebbe essere più felice di aver ottenuto un poker, poiché tutte e quattro le loro vetture sono finite nei primi quattro posti. Un bel bottino di punti per il mondiale costruttori.

Duel des champions du monde pour la victoire dans le célèbre Safari Rally Kenya jusqu'à la dernière spéciale. Enfin, l'octuple champion du monde Sébastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) a réussi à devancer l'actuel champion Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) de seulement 6,8 secondes dans un rallye très difficile.

Le vétéran français a su conserver l'avantage acquis dans les premières spéciales du rallye et bien que le jeune Finlandais ait tenté jusqu'au bout, il n'a pas pu rattraper Ogier qui compte déjà 3 victoires cette saison.

Malgré tout, Rovanperä reste le leader hors pair du championnat.

Si cela ne suffisait pas, Toyota ne pouvait pas être plus heureux car ils ont réalisé un Poker, puisque leurs quatre voitures ont terminé aux quatre premières places. Un beau butin de points pour le championnat du monde des constructeurs.
